ULARA SPATS N ROSES
Sire: Ulara Red Suede Shoes UD HSAs
Dam: Ulara the Oracle HSAs
Rosie arrived at the Alice Springs airport on 21 November 2008. There
was a big hole to fill in our home following the loss of our beautiful
Ulara Border Collie 'Molly' Ulara Mimosa six months earlier. As a
relative to Molly, Rosie is very special to us. She has a different
character and we enjoy her endless energy and antics.
As she arrived just prior to Christmas, she was delighted in the Xmas
decorations and the tree. We quickly learnt to put things up out of
reach and purchased a restraint door for inside the house - it is great.
There have been lots of trips to the pet shop to buy toys and chew
bones, we have loved every moment.
Rosie enjoys the car and we have already travelled many kilometres
together. We took her away on holiday to Mildura and out on a boat. Her
motto to describe her life is YES!! - that is, she is ready, willing and
able for anything anytime. She chases anything that moves - including
shadows, birds and insects and has been known for barking at the full
moon!
We commenced obedience training lessons early this year however Rosie
would rather play with the other dogs! We have repeated the beginners
class and last week officially moved up a class, so have made progress.
We also have entered two dog shows, just for the experience and
socialising too. Rosie won two ribbons at each show and has also got
some challenge points. The judge in the show ring said she is a high
spirited character! We plan to concentrate on obedience training and in
the future would like to try agility.
Sincere thanks to Ann, for the privilege of another beautiful Ulara dog.
